I have set a 38mm x 35mm Dendritic Agate raw edge Cabochon along with a smaller 11 mm oval Tourmaline in a fine silver setting. 

The pendant measures 2" by 1.25" and hangs from an 18" sterling silver chain which can be worn up to 20".
 
Please be aware that the size of jewelry in photographs can be deceptive so be sure to read the measurements carefully before you purchase.
